How to Become a Nurse

To be a nurse it isn’t all easy, but at the end it is a wonderful and rewarding career. To start nursing finish primary school and high school. Then you can choose to be a:
Registered Nurse
To become a nurse you’ll need to complete a Bachelor of Nursing which is available at most universities. Usually 4 years.
Enrolled Nurse
Go to university such as Edith Cowan University, Murdoch… To become an enrolled nurse you would need to complete a Diploma in Nursing or a Certificate IV in Nursing at TAFE. Usually 1 year.
Later you would need a professional registration with the Nurses and Midwives Board of Australia.
A clean criminal record or a clearance and pass a working with children’s screening.
Have an Australian or New Zealand citizenship, Australia PR (permanent residence) or a visa that lets you work in Australia.
